So long big city...

I can't believe 8 months has already gone by. It is now time for me to leave Toronto. I am definitely going to miss the city. Not sure what it is.. I just love large cities.

Well back to Waterloo tomorrow. Class starts Monday.

Holga

I shot a few rolls of film with the Holga over March break. First time ever using one.. thing is fun... I was not used to the whole point and shoot aspect.... forgot to take the lens cap off a few times. If you are not familiar of the almighty Holga, here it is.....

Unfortunaltey I just shot the quick snap of the camera without any of its trusty tape. Yes that is right.. all the seams have to be taped to avoid light leaks. The thing looks pretty haggard when I am shooting with it. Oh yeah... did I mention the whole thing is plastic... lens included.

Kevin laughed when I pulled out the Holga. "Is that a toy?"

Cooper's Lodge

Another Shot from the Vermont trip. Some old locals told us about this secret lodge earlier in the week. So one day we decided to venture into the backwoods to try to find said lodge. The backwoods were icy as hell which made the trek quite interesting (and very slow). When we reached the thing we saw how run down the place was. Wood and plastic covered the window openings and wooden beams remain where a mattress once rested. No more than 2 minutes after finding this thing a local shows up for some end of day smokes and drink. It was quite entertaining to hear some of the stories about the place. Apparently several years ago some old bearded man lived in the lodge selling drugs to all the local ski bums. Perhaps the mountain dealer's name was Cooper...?
